Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) is naturally found off the rugged Scandinavian coastline, in the icy waters of the northern Atlantic Ocean. Growing to just over 70cm, and weighing between 3 and 5kg, their fillets are pink, oily and rich in Omega-3. They have a delicate texture with a mild, yet distinctive taste. Atlantic salmon are highly versatile fish, and can be used in a variety of ways, such as smoked, grilled or baked.
Our Atlantic salmon are farmed using large nets set amongst the sheltered waters of Scandinavian fjords or bays. They are immediately cleaned, processed, then frozen to ensure their flavour and texture remains of the highest quality.
